Ethan Stewart
| | Cornell UniversityEthan Stewart is a postdoctoral research associate in high-throughput plant phenotyping at Cornell University. He is an expert in using imaging and computational technologies to measure disease on plants. For the WEST project, he will process thermal images of sorghum fields captured via unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to measure canopy temperature. He earned a bachelor’s degree in arboriculture from the University of Central Lancashire in the UK, and master’s degree in plant genetics and crop improvement from the University of East Anglia, also in the UK. He holds a doctorate in plant pathology from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, Switzerland. His work has been published in Phytopathology and Molecular Plant Microbe Interactions.
