Ryan Boyd

Ryan Boyd is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Illinois. His research focuses on the conservation of water by promoting photosynthesis in the humid lower canopy. For the WEST project, he is measuring light penetration through sorghum canopies. Ryan earned his bachelor’s degree in integrative biology from Illinois. He then went on to earn his doctorate degree in molecular plant science from Washington State University. His work is published in Plant Physiology.
