| | University of IllinoisMatthew Siebers is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Illinois. His research focuses on using new tools to rapidly assess plant performance in the field. For the WEST project, he will be developing correlations between new measurements of productivity and conventional ground-truthed measurements of plant growth and performance. Matthew earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. He went on to earn his doctorate in plant biology from Illinois. His work has been published in the journal Global Change Biology.
